At the end of the day, what really matters is: did we had fun?

This is just an amazing video, not only because Bode Miller is an amazing skier and a lose cannon (and i actually like lose cannons, they make life more fun) but because skiing with just one ski at 80 mph is hard.

In this video, Bode loses one of the skies while competing in a super-G descent. What does he do? A "normal" person, would just stop. But no he keeps going with just one sky, obviously knowing he couldn't win.

Anyway, this video reminds me why i allways wanted to work in this industry. Because it's fun. :-) I think this video is a great metaphor for that.

Unforeseen events will happen (Murphy will make sure they will) , and when they do; even if we know we can't win, we should continue for the heck of it. To have fun, which is the greatest reward of all. IT is a very demanding career, we aren't in this for the money, the glory or the women (altough that would be nice :-)), we signed in to have fun.

Just watch the video, instead of reading my pseudo motivational speech crap. :-)
